34th Mango Festival Concludes Successfully in New Delhi.

New Delhi, June 29, 2025 : The three-day 34th Mango Festival, organized by Delhi Tourism and the Government of Delhi, concluded today, marking the end of a vibrant celebration of India’s beloved fruit. The festival, held at Thyagaraj Stadium from 27th to 29th June 2025, witnessed an overwhelming response from mango lovers, families, and tourists from across the city.

On the concluding day, Hon’ble Minister of Tourism Sh Kapil Mishra jee visited the venue and appreciated the efforts of Delhi Tourism in promoting cultural vibrancy and community participation through such events. 

The  Minister  interacted with visitors, mango growers, and artisans, and expressed satisfaction with the enthusiastic public turnout and the diversity of mango varieties showcased.

In the morning, a live telecast of Hon’ble Prime Minister’s “Mann Ki Baat” was aired on the main stage. Hon’ble Minister of Tourism, Delhi was was present and large number of Visitors gathered to listen to the broadcast, adding a patriotic and reflective note to the day’s festivities.

The highlight of the evening was the much-awaited Mango Eating Competition (Ladies Category). A total of  30 enthusiastic women participated in this exciting challenge, where each contestant was tasked with eating 3 kg of mango pulp in three minutes. The competition was met with great enthusiasm and cheering from the audience.

The winners of the Mango Eating Competition (Ladies) were:

1st Prize Rama, 

2nd Prize Sanika and 

3rd Prize Archana

The competition generated a lot of curiosity and excitement among the audience and participants alike, showcasing the fun and community spirit that defines the festival.

The 34th Mango Festival was a great success, with thousands of footfalls over the three days.

 The event featured:

* Display and sale of over 400 varieties of mangoes from different states.

* Participation from reputed mango growers and mango product manufacturers.

* Cultural performances, folk dance and live music to entertain the crowds.

* Mango-based food stalls, and children’s activities that created a wholesome family experience.

The success of the festival was made possible through the collective efforts of the organizing team, participating vendors, security, volunteers, and most importantly, the enthusiastic citizens of Delhi who made the event memorable with their active participation.

Delhi Tourism expresses heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to making the 34th Mango Festival a grand celebration of taste, tradition, and togetherness.
