Taiwan Expo 2025 in India to Boost Bilateral Trade and Innovation

New Delhi, September 17, 2025 – Taiwan Expo 2025, the premier platform for economic and trade collaboration between Taiwan and India, will take place from September 25–27 at Bharat Mandapam (Pragati Maidan), Hall 1 in New Delhi. The event will feature 107 leading Taiwanese companies across four key themes: Smart Manufacturing, Smart Technology, Green Innovation, and Wellness Fiesta.

India–Taiwan bilateral trade reached an all-time high of USD 10.6 billion in 2024, with growing cooperation in electronics, EVs, renewable energy, semiconductors, and healthcare. Taiwan’s expertise in advanced manufacturing, ICT, and green solutions complements India’s national initiatives like Digital India, Make in India, and the IndiaAI Mission.

A pre-expo press conference held today brought together senior representatives from the Taipei Economic and Cultural Center in India, ITPO, and major Indian trade organizations such as FICCI, EEPC, TPCI, and ELCINA.

Mr. Keven Cheng, Deputy Director of TAITRA, emphasized India’s rising role as a strategic manufacturing hub for Taiwanese companies amid global supply chain shifts. Ms. Yu-Chi Chen, Executive Director at the Taipei Economic and Cultural Center, highlighted that over 300 Taiwanese firms have already invested around USD 5.8 billion in India.

The Expo will spotlight cutting-edge products from top Taiwanese brands, including Advantech, Zyxel, Proscend, IPEVO, and TAISYS Technologies, showcasing innovations in industrial IoT, cybersecurity, and visual collaboration.

Running alongside World Food India, the Expo will also feature a Taiwan Select Food Pavilion, with offerings such as air-dried noodles, plant-based meals, and instant boba kits—underscoring Taiwan’s push into India’s consumer food market.

Key Taiwanese companies like Foxconn (Hon Hai Technology Group) will also participate, reinforcing the deepening industrial and investment ties between the two countries.

As global dynamics evolve, Taiwan Expo 2025 in India serves as a catalyst for deeper partnerships in trade, technology, and innovation—strengthening Taiwan–India collaboration for shared growth.
