Greater Noida, September 22, 2025:
Sharda Hospital, a NABH-accredited super specialty hospital in Greater Noida, will host AyuSharda 2025 on September 23–24, to commemorate seven years of Ayushman Bharat – Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY). The two-day national conference and advanced workshop aim to enhance the scheme’s implementation and ensure its benefits reach patients more effectively.

The event will bring together healthcare professionals, administrators, policy experts, and government representatives to share knowledge, address operational challenges, and highlight the critical role of private hospitals in providing accessible, affordable, and equitable healthcare.

Day 1 will cover key topics such as the fundamentals of Ayushman Bharat, digital health integration, ethical considerations in free healthcare, and the role of private hospitals. It will also feature a CME on respiratory diseases and a cultural evening.
Day 2 will offer hands-on training in card creation, eligibility checks, claim processing, and grievance redressal, along with live demonstrations and a virtual tour of Ayushman Bharat services at Sharda Hospital. The event will conclude with participant feedback and certification.

“Ayushman Bharat has transformed healthcare access in India. Through AyuSharda 2025, we aim to build capacity, share best practices, and strengthen patient-centric innovations aligned with the Government’s vision,” said Mr. P.K. Gupta, Chairman, Sharda Hospital.

Dr. (Brig.) Ram Murti Sharma, Medical Superintendent, added, “With AyuSharda 2025, we want to equip healthcare providers with practical tools and foster dialogue on critical issues like workforce capacity and public–private collaboration.”

As one of the earliest empanelled hospitals under AB-PMJAY, Sharda Hospital treats over 1,200 beneficiaries every month, offering services across oncology, nephrology, general surgery, respiratory medicine, and more. Common procedures include laparoscopic surgeries, cancer treatments, and advanced diagnostics like CT, MRI, PET-CT, and DSA. Notably, one-third of patients are senior citizens, requiring long-term and chronic care support.

With over 80% of services now paperless and 100% cashless for Ayushman Bharat beneficiaries, Sharda Hospital continues to drive digital transformation in healthcare. Its super specialty departments span cardiology, orthopedics, neurology, urology, pediatrics, and others—enabling comprehensive care under the scheme.

The hospital also continues to address systemic challenges, such as the rising cost of prolonged ICU stays, especially for elderly patients, while leveraging patient data to inform preventive strategies and improve health outcomes.

By organizing AyuSharda 2025, Sharda Hospital not only celebrates the journey of Ayushman Bharat but also positions itself as a key contributor to shaping its future—through collaboration, innovation, and a firm commitment to universal health coverage in India.
