What brings us together in a quiet sense of belonging? Shared meals, familiar gestures, moments of waiting, or the simple passing of objects from one hand to another. These small, often overlooked acts slowly shape how we gather, connect, and care.
What We Carry reflects on the fragile nature of communion—how it is formed through pauses, imperfections, memories, and absences as much as through presence. The exhibition brings together artists who explore rituals of assembly, shared labour, and time, alongside works that speak to loss, remembrance, and unfinished conversations.
The exhibition also engages with the practice of miniature painting, revealing not only finished works but studies and technical stages, opening the form as a shared process shaped by learning, exchange, and tradition.
In a world marked by distance, What We Carry reminds us of the quiet acts and objects that bind us—of what we hold together, and what we risk losing if we let them slip away.
