Delhi, July 25, 2025 : The three-day Teej Festival organized at Dilli Haat Pitampura in collaboration with Delhi Tourism, Government of Delhi was inaugurated today by Hon’ble Chief Minister Mrs. Rekha Gupta, Government of Delhi. Hon’ble Mr. Kapil Mishra, Tourism Minister, Government of Delhi, Mrs. Niharika Rai, Managing Director, Delhi Tourism, Mr. D. Karthikayan, General Manager, Delhi Tourism and many other dignitaries were present on this occasion.

On this occasion, Hon’ble Chief Minister Mrs. Rekha Gupta said that this is an initiative by the Delhi Government to promote empowerment, cultural prosperity, community harmony and love for nature for all the women of Delhi.

In the festival at Dilli Haat, artists are bringing many concepts / arts of mehndi on the hands of women.
Dilli Haat decorated on the theme of Teej is displaying a unique experience. Charming selfie points, decorated swings, mehndi, bangle shops have become the center of attraction. Today, visitors enjoyed the charming presentation of Jasbir Jassi.

There is a provision for entertainment for all in the festival. Mehendi, Bindi and Rangoli competition will be organized tomorrow (26 July, 25) in the festival and Stuti Tiwari, DJ’s charming presentation can be enjoyed.

Musical chair, slogan writing, quiz program on Teej for women, cultural program organized daily, kids zone for children, swings and surprise gifts for women, delicious dishes, beautiful handicrafts and handloom items also available for sale, live bangle making and pottery exhibition on wheel.

Teej Festival organized by Delhi Tourism will run from 25 to 27 July 2025 from 11 am to 9 pm at Dilli Haat Pitampura. The nearest metro station to Dilli Haat Pitampura is Netaji Subhash Place. Entry to the festival is free and all are welcome to come and enjoy.
