On a bitter winter night in rural Haryana, the air sharp with frost and the fields silent under the moonlight, three men found themselves at the edge of desperation. Each burdened with personal crises—debts, failures, and the gnawing sense of hopelessness—they made a choice that would change their lives in ways they never anticipated.
Under the cover of darkness, they stole an ATM from a nearby town. Not with the precision of a seasoned thief, but with the wild impulsiveness of men cornered by circumstance. Dragging the heavy machine through snow-crusted lanes, they finally hid it in the motor room of a local tube well, a place as inconspicuous as it was impractical.
As night deepened, the three men attempted to break open the ATM. The machine, however, proved stubborn. What followed was less a heist and more a theatre of human folly: the clanging of metal against metal echoed through the fields, punctuated by exhausted grunts, mutual suspicions, and arguments that veered between absurd and bitterly serious. Each man blamed the others for their predicament, revealing cracks in their friendship that had been obscured by desperation.
