Sangram is fully prepared for fight

New Delhi, March 24, 2026: Wrestler-turned-MMA fighter Sangram Singh has described his recent days in very simple words. He said he prepared the hardest he ever had in his life for his highly anticipated fight in Buenos Aires, Argentina, with Florian Cowdrey of France. During this time, he sweated profusely with the help of his six coaches. Even his nights had disappeared. A different kind of fear was beginning to arise in my mind. His wife Payal Rohatgi never saw this turmoil of his mind. Following her opinions, he watched videos of MMA legends Jon Jones, St. Pierre and Anderson Silva, where he learned a lot. Then, from his family in Haryana, he received advice on more Desi home food and yoga and pranayama, which came in handy. Today he is proud to say that he has fully recovered from that ordeal and is fully prepared for this fight, both physically and mentally. Samurai Fight House will hold his fight in Tigrey, Buenos Aires on Sunday, April 5, 2026.

Many great achievements with the fitness icon

Sports Ministry’s fitness icon Sangram Singh is the ambassador of the Prime Minister’s Fit India Movement, a nationwide campaign. Therefore, he motivates the youth of the country to stay fit and adopt a sport on every such platform. New opposition increases tension

Sangram Singh says he had prepared by watching video recordings of his French opponent Mauteu Moteiro’s fights but due to his injury withdrawal, he faced another fighter, Florian Cowdrey. He has said that this fighter has not posted any of his videos on social media so he did not get a chance to prepare accordingly. Not just that, Sangram Singh has also carried out his preparations differently this time for which he took help from six coaches and physio. He also spent a lot of money on several trips to Forn, Mumbai, Delhi, Ahmedabad & few more places as part of the preparation.

Not just that, the rise in crude oil prices rising around the world also affected their flight tickets. The prices of tickets for him and his entire team to and from Buenos Aires have increased wildly and has increased the total expense to about 45 to 50 lakh rupees. Sangram Singh said that the support of sponsors proved to be his biggest strength which will help him to fight more openly without any pressure.

Ups and downs of life

The same Sangram Singh was once struggling with smetic rheumatoid arthritis in his childhood. Being bedridden for eight years and not being able to speak at all was a moment he will never forget in his life. To overcome this problem completely and then become a wrestler was nothing short of a dream come true and from here to participate in clay wrestling, become an international level wrestler, then act on the screen, reach the common people through many big reality shows & film, then become a notable motivational speaker and become an MMA fighter is nothing less than dreams turned into reality.

His endurance and conditioning are also being worked very well.  It is worth mentioning that Sangram Singh has been an internationally renowned Greco-Roman style wrestler.
