New Delhi, April 21, 2026: The celebration of Victory in World War II is approaching.
In that war, the USSR and India fought side by side and defeated Nazi Germany, Fascist Italy, and militarist Japan.
In memory of this feat, the international campaign “Immortal Regiment” is held annually in Russia and around the world. Participants march in columns through city streets carrying photographs of their relatives — veterans of the Great Patriotic War and World War II, partisans, home front workers, former concentration camp prisoners, siege survivors, and children of war.
Russian House invite you to take part in the Immortal Regiment march, which will take place on May 8 at 8:30 a.m. in New Delhi.

Register for the event and share photos of your ancestors — participants in World War II.
Applications will be accepted until May 4. Participants of the Immortal Regiment can pick up printed photographs at the reception of the Russian House.
